Margarita Machine Rental FAQs – Orange County

How much does it cost to rent a margarita machine in Orange County?

A single margarita machine rental from JC Event Rentals is $195.00. Your rental includes:

  • Your first bottles of our all-natural concentrate mix (your choice of flavor)
  • A 5-gallon mixing container
  • A heavy-duty rolling cart with skirting
  • Delivery, setup, and pickup

A delivery fee applies based on your city and mileage. We deliver throughout Orange County including Irvine, Dana Point, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Coto de Caza, San Juan Capistrano, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, and Ladera Ranch.

How many drinks does one batch make?

The first batch of one bowl produces about 150–160 eight-ounce frozen drinks with alcohol included — perfect for parties of 20 to 60 people. Your first batch is on us. Each additional mix is $25.

How much liquor do I need to provide?

Customers provide their own liquor. Each of our all-natural concentrate mixes needs 2 to 2½ liters of tequila (or your liquor of choice, depending on flavor).

Are the machines easy to use?

Yes — they’re fully self-serve. We mix your first batch, demo the machine for you, and leave easy-to-follow written instructions. You also get our phone line for 24-hour support during your event in case anything comes up.

How long does the first batch take to freeze?

The first batch takes 1 to 2 hours to freeze. Freeze time depends on the electrical current, distance from the outlet, ambient heat, humidity, sunlight, alcohol content, and starting temperature of the mix. We always recommend keeping the machine in the shade for the fastest freeze.

Do I need to add ice?

No ice needed. Just pour in the mix and the machine handles the rest.

Can I rent a margarita machine for a kids’ party or non-alcoholic event?

Absolutely. All of our concentrate mixes can be used with or without alcohol, so the same machine works for kids’ birthdays, baby showers, school events, and graduations. You can even fill one bowl with an alcoholic mix for adults and the other with a non-alcoholic mix for kids — perfect for family events across Orange County.

Do I need someone serving the drinks?

No — the machines are self-serve and easy for guests to use. Keep the machine full and the frozen drinks keep flowing. We do recommend assigning one person to refill the bowl as needed so you can stay focused on your guests.

Can I pick up the machine myself for a cheaper rate?

We always deliver and set up our machines so we can confirm everything is working before your party starts. The machines weigh about 130 pounds and are difficult to transport safely.

Does the machine require a special electrical outlet?

Yes — our machines need a dedicated 15-amp outlet on a 110V / 20-amp circuit, meaning no other appliances should share that circuit. The machine should sit within 25 feet of the outlet. If your outlet is farther, we provide a proper 12-gauge extension cord.

What size is the margarita machine?

Approximately 16 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 5½ feet tall on its rolling cart. Total weight is about 150 lbs. Plan for a flat, sturdy spot near a power outlet, ideally in the shade.

What kind of machines do you use?

We rent professional two-bowl Carpigiani machines so your guests get two flavors at once — perfect for serving classic and fruity margaritas side by side, or one bowl with alcohol and one without.

How far in advance should I book a margarita machine rental?

We recommend booking 2–4 weeks ahead for most events, and 4–8 weeks ahead for weekend weddings between May and September when our calendar fills up fast. Last-minute rentals are sometimes available — call to check.

Do you deliver margarita machines to Dana Point, San Clemente, and Mission Viejo?

Yes. We deliver throughout South Orange County, including Dana Point, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Coto de Caza, San Juan Capistrano, Irvine, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, and Ladera Ranch.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes — your $100 booking deposit is fully refundable and applies toward your total rental cost.
